WHAT IS IT
CITT is a collection of poems framed by a journey across the United States, inevitably defining an inner struggle. A short lifetime of experiences fall into their places, refracted inward through a windshield or shouted from the hillside above the urban haze. CITT tells the one-sided story of a relationship, while confronting or celebrating memories and ideas not limited to loyalty and longing, psychology, religion, modern society, death, friendship, parenthood, war, and the Eulogy of a Living Dog. To further mitigate your boredom, CITT incorporates 4 short stories and 90 artworks, comprising photography, digital art, and painting. CITT works in verse and free form styles while usually rhyming and providing a cool picture more often than not. It is available in paperback and eBook.
WHY IT MATTERS
100% of the profits from the sale of CITT are donated to the First Nations Development Institute. At the most fundamental level, CITT is a communion with the ancient landscapes of the United States that inspired the journey’s Triumphs of Impermanent Tranquility. CITT’s most significant revelations came in the spaces between, in the most undisturbed expanses, revering the sanctity of those who were before. In keeping with a poetic sense of full-circle, CITT aspires to play a part in support of the future of Native American communities.
